Solana

Solana is an open-source blockchain launched in 2020 by Anatoly Yakovenko and a team of engineers. Its primary goal is to provide a platform for decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts with very high speed and low cost. By combining Proof of History (PoH) with a Proof-of-Stake mechanism, Solana can process thousands of transactions per second. It quickly became a leading project in DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 applications, supported by a large community of developers and investors.
